She helps Barry and Iris realize that they’re capable of being parents, but her being injured could’ve served a bigger purpose. Besides the reveal that she has been working for Thawne, nothing about her character has been interesting. This could have been a great story arc for Nora to have gone through. The reasoning behind this plan also seemed very bland. I wouldn’t normally mind similar plots, but the way they came up with this plan seemed very spontaneous. The plan didn’t work out so well for the team. Team Flash had the idea to escort the metahumans locked inside the Particle Accelerator prison to somewhere less dangerous. Team Flash decides to protect the rest of the metahumans on the list, hoping to get them into protective custody.Īs many of you know, this story was already done during season 1. Sherloque ( Tom Cavanagh) is still conducting his investigation on Nora, seemingly getting closer to finding out the truth. Cecille ( Danielle Nicolet) is trying to figure out who is leaking Dr. Meanwhile, Caitlin ( Danielle Panabaker) is still working on the metahuman cure but is having trouble dealing with Killer Frost ( Danielle Panabaker) trying to stop her. Unfortunately, Nora gets injured, much like how Barry got injured after his initial battle against Zoom back in season 2.īarry, filled with anger, is on a warpath to find Cicada. Labs, Nora and Barry ( Grant Gustin) rush off to deal with him. Receiving an alert about Cicada closing in on another metahuman while they’re in S.T.A.R.
Meanwhile, Team Flash learns that Cicada is back in Central City after finding several metahumans dead. Ambres tells him that she was able to find someone in the GCPD who would be more than happy to help Cicada kill more metahumans. Ambres ( Lossen Chambers) trying to see Grace. The episode picks up with Cicada meeting with Dr.
But there were still things that couldn’t really make this be a stand-out episode. However, this episode did show some sort of promise. But it looks like they’ll be focusing on Cicada ( Chris Klein) for at least a few more episode.
I figured since the ending teased that Nora ( Jessica Parker Kennedy) had been working with Eobard Thawne ( Tom Cavanagh) that the second half would focus on that. Even the 100th episode had some elements that seemed very questionable. So far, unfortunately, I haven’t found anything quite exciting this season other than the crossover event. We are officially at the half-point of The Flash’s fifth season.
